MSPBJ Names Christensen Group a 2025 Best Place to Work, Ranking 2nd Among Large Companies

News

Christensen Group Insurance is proud to share that we have once again been named one of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Best Places to Work, ranking second in the Large Companies category for 2025. This is the sixth time we have received this honor, and it is a direct reflection of the culture, collaboration, and dedication of our employee-owners.

The Best Places to Work award is determined entirely by confidential employee surveys conducted by Quantum Workplace. These surveys measure culture, leadership, communication, and overall employee satisfaction, making this recognition especially meaningful because it comes directly from the voices of our team.

As a 100 percent employee-owned company, we are committed to investing in our people. We contribute 15 percent of employee wages to an ESOP retirement plan with no match required, ensuring that every employee shares in our long-term success. We also prioritize well-being with access to an on-site gym, subsidized personal training, and the CG Wellness Account, which reimburses a wide range of fitness and wellness expenses. In addition, we look for ways to make the day-to-day experience more enjoyable. Over the past year, we upgraded our coffee program with premium espresso machines and sparkling water at all locations, offering a small but meaningful daily perk for our growing team of coffee lovers.

Celebrating success together is a cornerstone of our culture. Whether through all-team meetings, our annual shareholder gathering, peer-to-peer recognition on our intranet, or team celebrations for big achievements, we make it a priority to recognize both professional and personal milestones. This year, we were especially proud to cheer on one of our own as they competed in the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament.

Our leadership team is equally committed to transparency and open communication. We host quarterly town halls and additional all-hands meetings as needed, ensuring employees are kept up to date and have the opportunity to ask questions directly. When challenges arise, we address them openly, share what is working, and provide clear steps forward.

We are grateful to our 188 Minnesota-based employee-owners for making Christensen Group such a special place to work. Their passion, collaboration, and commitment to excellence drive everything we do. This award belongs to each of them, and we are honored to celebrate another year as one of the Best Places to Work.
