This holiday season, offices across CG came together for the annual CG Season of Giving, supporting organizations and individuals in the communities where employees live and work. Through donations, volunteering, and hands-on support, teams made a meaningful impact across multiple states. These efforts reflect one of CG’s core values, Community, and demonstrate a shared commitment to giving back.
In Kansas, the CG team supported Drumm Farm Center for Children, a valued client, by purchasing gifts for the Compass Youth stocking program. The program supports young adults who have aged out of foster care or are experiencing homelessness. In addition, Alyssa Blake contributed by baking cookies for Drumm Farm’s annual holiday party, where gifts were distributed to participants.
Several Minnesota offices participated in a variety of initiatives addressing local needs. The Eden Prairie office delivered donated gifts and a contribution supported through the CG matching fund to Hospitality House Youth Development’s Christmas with Dignity event, helping families purchase holiday gifts at a reduced cost. Members of the Simmons family also volunteered their time to assist with event setup.
The Monticello office focused on supporting Monticello High School students in need by providing winter coats, boots, mittens, and other cold weather essentials, along with gas cards, a comforter, and yearbooks for graduating seniors. In Waite Park, the team granted wishes through the INDY Foundation’s Blessing Tree, supporting local cancer warriors and their families through donations matched by CG. The New Ulm office donated toys and gifts to Ivy House, a 24-hour crisis nursery that offers short-term care for children while families receive needed support. In Alexandria, Dave Deterding made a donation to The Windmill Project in support of its upcoming Christmas event, helping families of children with disabilities and special needs.
In Texas, the San Antonio team volunteered with Meals on Wheels San Antonio, delivering meals to community members in need and providing a financial donation to support the organization’s ongoing services. The Austin team supported SAFE, an organization dedicated to stopping abuse and providing emergency shelter, counseling, legal services, and 24/7 SAFEline support for children, adults, and families. Donations from the Austin team were matched by CG, expanding the reach of their contribution.
In addition to these office-led efforts, many employees supported Season of Giving initiatives outside their home offices or contributed independently to organizations they are passionate about throughout the year.
The CG Season of Giving highlights the collective impact employees can make when they come together to support their communities. As an employee-owned firm, CG remains committed to living out its Community value during the holidays and beyond.
