As an Intern you will be responsible for assisting and completing tasks and projects as assigned across all departments, while gaining valuable insight on the Insurance industry. You will have the opportunity to gain career development skills by having a hands-on experience in your desired career of interest.
Training

The Intern role allows an individual to gain Insurance experience by working on projects and tasks as needed during the 10-12 weeks of employment. During these weeks you will have the opportunity to participate, learn, and ask questions about the production side of the business including sales and client meetings, carrier meetings and trainings, etc.
Core Duties and Expectations
· Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents; photocopy, scan, etc. as needed
· Assist in preparing information and research materials
· Sort and manage files
· Manage databases and input information, data, and records
· Research and gather documentation on company position in industry
· Create and maintain a positive work environment
· Accept special assignments as directed by Department Managers
· Work openly and constructively with team members to reinforce the importance of delivering an efficient, effective, and high-quality work product
· Represent Christensen Group in the greatest professional and ethical manner possible
· Undergraduates who have completed or are starting their senior year
· 0-3 years of customer service experience (or equivalent)
· Aptitude to learn quickly and efficiently
· Ability to work in a team setting
· Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
· Microsoft Office experience (strong math and Excel background)
· Detail-oriented
· Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work responsibilities
· Ability to network and grow ones connections
· Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
· Self-Motivated individual who has an entrepreneurial approach when faced with new tasks and assignments
