The Christensen Group is hiring a full-time Administrative Assistant to join our team at our Monticello, Minnesota office. This is a great opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys supporting a team, managing daily office operations, and contributing to a positive workplace environment.

As an Administrative Assistant, you'll support the day-to-day operations of the office by answering phone calls, distributing incoming mail, scanning and filing insurance documents, and providing administrative support to the team.

Employment Type & Compensation

This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Monticello, Minnesota office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The position offers an annual salary of $38,000–$44,000, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills.

Job details

Answer phone calls that come into our main line
Use systems to look up customers and transfer calls
Greet visitors
Distribute incoming mail, email, and faxes
Prepare and send outgoing mail, including packages
Assist in scheduling conference rooms as needed
Support the team by scanning policies, downloading documents, and uploading documents into agency system
Ordering and stocking office supplies for home office and assist other offices as needed
Assist in ordering lunches
Partner with vendors on office equipment and supplies
Keep front reception space, kitchens, and conference rooms tidy
Assists with building communication to other tenants as needed
Assist with projects as determined

Job requirements

2-year degree preferred or equivalent experience
Ability to organize and prioritize work responsibilities
Highly effective interpersonal skills
Independent and a self-starter
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Microsoft Outlook and Excel knowledge preferred
Able to adapt to and lead in an environment that is fast paced and lead others through change
