We're proud to announce that our nomination, You're Not Alone (YNA), has been honored with West Bend Insurance Company's prestigious 2025 Spirit of the Silver Lining Award from the West Bend Independent Agents' Fund.

The award was presented at West Bend's Silver Lining Annual Meeting on Monday, where the company recognized YNA's outstanding dedication to delivering hope and support to those in need throughout our community and beyond. During the ceremony, West Bend doubled their original donation, presenting YNA with a $10,000 contribution to further their vital mental health work.

Our team members Jake Olinger, Dustin Craig, and Tony Larson were excited to assist in the check presentation to such a deserving nonprofit organization. You're Not Alone is making a real difference and we're proud to support their mission.

Founded by Amy Walz, You're Not Alone is committed to supporting whole-person health and well-being, with a special focus on mental health. Their mission is to create a compassionate, empathetic, and understanding community where individuals experiencing a mental health crisis can find acceptance and support without fear of judgment.

You're Not Alone (YNA) partners with school districts across the nation, bringing volunteer therapy dog teams into schools to support students and staff in a variety of ways. Their programming strives to educate and implement social-emotional skills that promote and encourage mental health and wellness, while also encouraging utilization of these skills individually and beyond. They also provide programming about promoting and teaching strategies to combat bullying and life stressors in the school setting, all while utilizing and educating students on the amazing gift that animals can play in their lives.

CG has partnered with You're Not Alone to support our employee-owners' mental health and well-being. Through this partnership, we've provided sessions to help our team members access the compassionate, peer-based support that YNA offers, reinforcing our commitment to whole-person wellness in our workplace.

Since 2006, the West Bend Independent Agents' Fund has awarded more than $1.4 million in grants to deserving nonprofit organizations. The Spirit of the Silver Lining Award recognizes independent insurance agents and the organizations they support for their dedication to making a positive difference in their communities.
