Mitch Slauter is Vice President of Commercial Lines at Christensen Group, focusing on Contractors and Hotel/Hospitality.
Before joining Christensen Group, Mitch spent nearly eight years with Federated Insurance. Prior to that, he worked at Ecolab for about a year and served as a firefighter for three years. He also briefly played professional baseball, spending one season with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Mitch holds a degree in Criminology from Mississippi State University.
Outside of work, Mitch enjoys playing golf, often blending that with professional networking. He lives in the Kansas City area with his wife Chanel, who was a collegiate soccer player and is known as the life of the party, and their 5-year-old son Elijah, who’s passionate about baseball, kickboxing, Transformers, and makes friends wherever he goes. As a family, they enjoy exploring hidden gems and food spots around Kansas City.
