Christensen Group's Randi Gillen Participates in Inaugural Assurex Global Women's Network Leadership Summit

Randi Gillen, Employee Benefits Service Leader at Christensen Group, recently participated in the inaugural Assurex Global Women's Network (AGWN) Leadership Summit in Chicago, joining 23 other accomplished female leaders from across the insurance industry.

The exclusive summit brought together proven leaders selected from 15 Assurex Global Partner Firms. Out of all nominees, only 24 leaders were chosen to participate, making it a highly competitive and selective experience.

The program addressed the unique pressures female leaders face: being decisive yet collaborative, confident yet approachable, and assertive yet likable. Participants explored their leadership identity and communication style, then translated those insights into practical action. They practiced influencing without overcompensating, built confidence in high-stakes communication, and developed strategies to strengthen their presence in meetings, presentations, and difficult conversations.

I had the opportunity to learn and grow alongside an incredible group of women from across the industry who brought different experiences, perspectives, and ideas to the conversation. It reinforced for me that there isn’t one way to be an impactful leader and there is so much value in learning from the different strengths and perspectives others bring. I’m grateful for the connections we made, the conversations we had and the opportunity to be part of something that invested so intentionally in women as leaders. " Randi said of the summit.

Randi brings 14 years of employee benefits experience to her role at Christensen Group. She partners with clients to navigate complex benefits programs while leading service operations, developing high-performing teams, and driving operational improvements. She is known for her passion for creating scalable solutions, mentoring others, and building trusted relationships with clients and colleagues.
