Job details

  • Enter accurate client information into system applications, including setting up new clients in AMS and Worksmart
  • Update Marketing Department New/Renewal business spreadsheet
  • Review and update the following when necessary:
    • Large property, equipment, and auto scheduled from clients versus the quotes
    • Final quotes against proposal drafts, ensuring that they match the final proposal
    • Schedules and applications, and prepare for policy delivery as requested
  • Save new business info such as policies, schedules, loss runs, emails, etc. from carrier websites into department systems
  • Create initial submissions using template apps from policies/schedules received from prospects and clients
  • Prepare quotes, renewal proposals and other documents for delivery to producer, as well as update applications to match said proposals
  • Generate Pre renewal documents/processing including  
    • Pull loss runs as needed
    • Pull Experience Mod
    • Generate exposure workbooks
  • Assist with maintaining programs documents
  • Rate lines of coverage on carrier websites
  • Provide training to new and existing team members on applications, importing/exporting schedules, and proposal processes as needed
  • Gather info for Monthly new Business email  
  • Maintain culture of employee ownership – contribute time and support to agency/carrier events or activities that strengthen our culture
  • Projects as requested by Leader including assisting marketing team with program business and carrier reports.

Job requirements

  • 4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 1 – 3 years of Business Insurance customer service experience (or equivalent) preferred
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word and Excel background)
  • AMS 360 experience (desirable)
  • Ability to navigate carrier websites
  • Detail-oriented  
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work responsibilities
  • Ability to contribute to agency revenue goals by following established policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Ability to obtain Minnesota Property and Casualty insurance license
